The lower river is still regarded by many as second best, with the
200lb + fish being caught upstream, but Derek and other local guides
believe it is only a matter of time before the river record comes out in
this area. With an abundance of prey, mullet and small carp etc these
lower river cats are growing at a phenomenal rate.
